NAGASHIMA SATISFIED WITH PROGRESS ON DAY TWO IN THAILAND

LCR Honda IDEMITSU’s Tetsuta Nagashima showed encouraging pace ahead of Sunday’s Grand Prix of Thailand at Buriram. Standing in for injured compatriot Takaaki Nakagami at round 17 of the MotoGP World Championship, the Japanese rider continued to improve on day two and will start from the front of the eighth row.

Nagashima shaved three tenths off his overnight time in FP3 and claimed an impressive 20th position in FP4, finishing ahead of the Ducati of Fabio Di Giannantonio. He then ended 12th in a competitive Q1 session and is now looking forward to testing himself in tomorrow’s race.
