TAKAAKI NAKAGAMI TAKES POINTS IN MUGELLO

LCR Honda IDEMITSU rider Takaaki Nakagami has finished 13th on Italian soil after one of the most physically demanding races of the season so far.

Starting from the 16th spot on the grid, the Japanese rider conducted a clever race, didn’t make mistakes and managed the situation. Tire consumption was one of the question marks in Mugello due to today’s temperatures, which were higher than the previous days, but Takaaki has done a solid job and has crossed the line 13th, grabbing essential points.

“Overall, it’s been a challenging weekend. During today’s race, I struggled with the front side of the bike, I didn’t have the feeling. However, I felt good in the braking areas, and in the end, we managed to score some points, it’s important to look at the bright side, we are not giving up!”
