Nakagami crashes on Sunday in Mugello

IDEMITSU Honda LCR rider Takaaki Nakagami crashed on Sunday’s race at Mugello.

Despite a promising start to the race, Nakagami’s attempt to regain positions and fight for points led to a crash. Fortunately, the Japanese rider didn’t suffer any consequences and is all set for Monday’s upcoming test at the Circuit of Mugello.

“Today’s conditions were slightly different, and it was more challenging. I felt comfortable on the bike during the first laps, but things got complicated. I crashed at turn 12; I lost the front while braking. Let’s see how tomorrow’s test goes”.
