BRAVE TAKA COMPLETES HOME GP AT MOTEGI

Takaaki Nakagami rode through the pain barrier to bravely finish the Grand Prix of Japan in front of his home fans on Sunday. Despite suffering immense discomfort from the hand injury he sustained in Aragon, the LCR Honda IDEMITSU rider battled through 24 laps of the Motegi circuit to take the chequered flag in 20^th place in the MotoGP race.

Departing from the back of the grid, Taka got a solid start and made up positions to sit in 20^th at the end of the first lap. While he then struggled to maintain a strong pace, the Japanese star courageously fought until the end to bring his bike home, just one week after undergoing surgery on his injured fingers.
