TAKA TARGETS IMPROVEMENT AT MISANO

Takaaki Nakagami endured a tough start to the Emilia Romagna GP as Friday’s free practice sessions were impacted by wet conditions. The MotoGP paddock have returned to Rimini for the second race of the season at Misano and the LCR Honda IDEMITSU rider struggled to find rhythm on a slippery circuit.

Rain in the morning meant FP1 took place in full wet conditions and Taka did not get much time out on the circuit, ending the session in 22nd place. Sunshine broke through in the afternoon to ensure there was a drying track for FP2, but Taka had to settle for 23rd position and will now be hoping for improved weather on Saturday.
