Takaaki Nakagami scores points in Germany

IDEMITSU Honda LCR rider Takaaki Nakagami has crossed the line 15th on Sunday race at the Sachsenring.

The Japanese rider has carried out a solid race on German soil. Despite the difficulties, he’s pushed and fought through the 30 laps without giving up, battling for the 13th position against rivals. Today’s performance has served Takaaki and the crew to see some positives to make some steps ahead of the next races.

“On the last lap I knew I had to attack because I wanted to get to the points. So, somehow, I had nothing to lose in that sense, and I gave everything. It worked! And despite being just a point, it’s very significant for us. Many thanks to the team for its job!”
