Demanding race for Nakagami in Qatar

IDEMITSU Honda LCR rider Takaaki Nakagami finished 19th on Sunday in Qatar.

Starting from the 19th spot on the grid, Nakagami had to face a comeback race to try and get to the points. Despite a consistent pace, the rider missed some feeling to push and couldn’t improve as the laps went by, finding difficulties in overtaking riders. After this weekend, the rider and the team are committed to finding a solution ahead of the second race in Portimao.

“I’m disappointed with myself because although we’ve had a difficult weekend, I wanted to do better and get a positive result for me and the team. We’ll now get to Portimao with some data to try and improve, and reach our goals”.
