TAKA ON THE THIRD ROW FOR VALENCIA FINALE

LCR Honda IDEMITSU rider Takaaki Nakagami will start the season-ending Valencia Grand Prix from the third row after a hectic qualifying series. Overall, the LCR Honda IDEMITSU rider enjoyed another impressive day at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, topping the FP4 session and eventually claiming 9^th position on the grid having progressed automatically to Q2.

Sitting in 6^th overnight, Taka ensured his spot in the qualifying shoot-out by taking seventh in FP3 in dry and sunny conditions. He then demonstrated his potential for Sunday’s race by topping the timesheets in the final free practice session, before going ninth fastest in Q2 – finishing as the leading Honda rider.
