TAKA PLEASED WITH PROGRESS AT VALENCIA TEST SESSION

Takaaki Nakagami started his preparations for the 2023 MotoGP World Championship at the one-day official test session at Valencia on Tuesday. Fresh from an impressive return to action at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo last weekend, the LCR Honda IDEMITSU rider got through a busy schedule as he tested parts ahead of the new season.

Taka – who posted a points finish in Sunday’s race – was back on track and clocked up a total of 64 laps as he tried various items and settings to gather important data. He finished the day in 19^th spot overall, and will now fly back to Japan for further surgery to ensure he right hand is in peak condition for 2023.
