TAKA TARGETS IMPROVEMENT AT MISANO

Takaaki Nakagami will focus on improving the set-up of his RC213V after a challenging first day of free practice for the San Marino Grand Prix. On a day of mixed weather at Misano, the LCR Honda IDEMITSU rider ended up in 13^th on the timesheets and with work to do ahead of tomorrow’s FP3 session.

Back on the LCR team’s home patch in Rimini, FP1 took place in dry conditions and Taka settled for 13^thposition in a typically tight session, just seven tenths behind pacesetter Maverick Viñales. Rain then fell directly before FP2 to ensure difficult track conditions and Taka was unable to find any rhythm on the wet asphalt as he finished down the order.
